I have done one international, and three on-campus Winter Term projects so far. Winter Term at Oberlin features individual and group projects – students can build and conduct their own projects, or join pre-built programs led by experts. I have done two individual, and two group projects.

New Religion in Japan (2023)

This project explores Japanese views on new religions after Shinzo Abe’s assassination. Abe’s assassination on July 8, 2022, sparked discussions about his ties to the Unification Church. I wrote daily journals summarizing my readings and specialist conversations.

3D Printing: Design Methods (2024)

I learned to design and 3D-print objects in Rhino 3D. Starts from modeling projects to design a printable object, the project involves printing and printer maintenance, expanding designs and focusing on static or animated models.
